What are the Minimum Standard Guidelines and how were they formulated?
As a contractor’s association dealing with the industry’s day to day needs we at PRAWA found a gap. We found that there are a lack of resources that outline the industry’s minimum standards for roof repairs and waterproofing.
Having contacted leading industry roofing and waterproofing suppliers and industry experts we created a comprehensive document outlining industry minimum standard guidelines, application guidelines, repair guidelines etc. These documents were created for the betterment of the roof repair and waterproofing industry by promoting best practice and educating contractors, we also took many references from The South African National Standards when compiling our Minimum Standard Guidelines.
Some of the companies we consulted include but are not limited to: Harvey Tile, Global Roofing Solutions, Concrete Manufacturer’s Association, Everite.
